Sequim School Board candidate John Clark Yeo and Hospital District candidate Heather Jeffers have refiled for their respective offices after Clallam County elections staffers determined neither reside in the district for which they originally filed.

Yeo had filed for Sequim School District, Director District No. 2, — incumbent Virginia O’Neil declined to run for her own position — but he was found to live outside the No. 2 district boundaries. Instead, Yeo refiled for the at-large position held by incumbent Bev Horan. The move eliminates a primary for the Sequim School District; Horan and Yeo will face each other on the November ballot.

Jeffers had filed for Hospital District No. 2, Commissioner District 1, Position 2, but she resides in District 2. She refiled for that district and will face incumbent Jean C. Hordyk and Bill Hannan in a primary this September.
