Around 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, Sequim residents experienced brief flickers in power.
Mike Howe, Communications and Government Relations manager for Clallam County PUD 1, said officials don’t know the cause since the power didn’t go out.
“There were four blinks in power,” he said.
“We don’t know what exactly happened. It wasn’t because of too much power usage. It may have been wildlife contact or wind. I’m glad it was very brief. We’re sorry for any inconveniences.”
