Emblem3 wows fans in brief Washington concert

Band priming release for new album on July 30

Emblem3, the rising band with roots in Sequim and featured on TV’s "The X-Factor," took to the stage July 23 at The Commons, a Federal Way shopping mall.

The promotional event by 106.1 KISS FM Seattle brought the band to play a three-song set for an amped up crowd as a primer for Emblem3’s first full-length album "Nothing to Lose," scheduled for a July 30 release.

The 11-track album by Drew Chadwick and Keaton and Wesley Stromberg is available online and at retailers nationwide. Stream it here.

The video features "Sunset Blvd" and viewers should be cautious to turn their audio down due to the crowd’s exuberant reaction to the band.

Emblem3 plays Vancouver, B.C., on Aug. 14, and next comes to the area opening for Selena Gomez at the Seattle Center on Nov. 11.

Look for a Sequim Gazette story about the band from fans’ perspective on July 31.
