Essential workers now eligible for Dose 1 vaccines

Beginning today, Thursday, March 11, essential workers — including agriculture, food processing, grocery stores, food banks, public transit, corrections and courts — may register for any Dose 1 COVID vaccination drive-through clinic in Sequim, regardless of age.

Two new 1,000 slot Dose 1 vaccination days have been added to the Jamestown Family Health Clinic drive-through COVID-19 vaccines at Carrie Blake Community Park in Sequim for Tuesday, March 16, and Thursday, March 18. Register online at vaccine.clallam.net/register.

Once online registration is complete, a ticket with date and time should be printed and brought.

The JFHC Dose 1 COVID vaccination clinics will continue to take registrations from people of ages 65 or older. A spouse or domestic partner in the car may be younger and can be registered at the same time. In addition, those 50 years old and older who are living in a multi-generational household may also register for a vaccine, along with school and school district employees.

For those people who do not have internet access, the call center number is 360-681-3447. Volunteers at the call center will use the online system to make appointments, and registration information will be on file at the check-in booth.

Check in at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave., Sequim

For those people who are to receive Dose 2, there is no need to make an appointment. Simply check-in on the date and time given to after receiving the first dose.
