Hannah Hudson is a junior with the Menlo College Oaks’ volleyball squad. She had 10 digs off the bench as the Oaks fell in four sets to The Master’s University (Santa Clarita, Calif.) on Oct. 14, and had four assists and a team-high nine digs in a three-set loss to Westmont on Oct. 15. Menlo fell to 3-7 in conference play and 11-14 overall.
Hudson, a 2014 Sequim High graduate and former track and field and volleyball standout, led the team in sets played (83) and digs (353), and is third in assists (47).
She competed for Olympic College’s (Bremerton) volleyball, earning a spot on the Sophomore Showcase Team, before transferring to Menlo. She also competed for Olympic’s track and field squad in running events.
While in Sequim, Hudson was named the Olympic League’s Defensive Most Valuable Player in 2013, leading the team in defense and was one of the team’s top servers. She was an all-league libero as a junior and all-league honorable mention as a sophomore in Sequim.
