Epiphany Tea planned at Trinity United; Fellowship to hear story of the Manis Mastodon

Epiphany Tea planned

The Sequim area’s annual Epiphany Tea will be from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave. The tea commemorates the arrival of the Three Wise Men in Bethlehem 12 days after Christmas.

A program at 1:45 p.m. will feature Lee Harwell, well-known in local theatrical circles, in a monologue on the Wise Men’s journey as told from the camel’s perspective.

Participating churches, in addition to Trinity, include St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Faith Lutheran Church and Dungeness Community Church. People of all faiths are welcome. Sandwiches, cookies and an Epiphany cake will be available.

The event is free. Donations of money or canned food for the Sequim Food Bank will be accepted.
