Farmers breakfast raises nearly $9,000

The Friends of the Fields are calling the third annual Farmer’s Breakfast a success.

More than 500 guests attended the breakfast at the Sequim Prairie Grange Sunday, March 22, digging in and eating a hearty breakfast of ham, eggs, organic potato home fries, toast, jam, orange juice, coffee and tea served by 35 volunteers.

The Old Time Fiddlers, the Kentucky Bullfrogs and Jubilee played live music.

A silent auction raised $850 with an additional $5,874 in ticket sales and $2,185 in donations.
