The Rock-a-thon was on at Bank of America Park on Saturday, March 20th.
Sequim High School’s Future Business Leaders of America spent two hours rocking in business chairs for cash sponsorships towards their April 7-10 trip to the state competition in Yakima.
Those rocking were, pictured from left, Lucas Shores, 17, Nicole Masangkay, 18, Sara Boucher, 17, Alisa Lee, 17, and Patrick McCready, 17.
They received more than $500 in sponsorships.
FBLA adviser Christy Ditlefsen said they wanted to try something completely unique and found the idea online.
They were going to use rocking chairs but business chairs were more in line with what they do, she said.
Twelve students will be representing Sequim in Yakima with each student needing $150 to go.
