Dr. Usha Reddi of Olympic Medical Center’s Sleep Medicine Clinic, will present “Sleep in health and disease,” a free WOW! Working on Wellness Forum at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave.
Seating is limited, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
At the presentation, Reddi will provide an overview of common sleeping disorders and how sleep works for people at different stages of their life.
During her initial visit with a new patient, Dr. Reddi said she likes to learn not only about their disease but also about various aspects of their life at an individual level. She said enjoys educating them about their health and empowering them with the knowledge and tools to be an active participant in managing their condition.
WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic — Sequim’s free clinic, which provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members.
Work is supported by more than 70 volunteers including physicians, other professional health care providers an laypersons, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim community and beyond.
