A two-vehicle collision around 3:20 p.m. Friday, April 15, sent three people to Olympic Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

A two-vehicle collision around 3:20 p.m. Friday, April 15, sent three people to Olympic Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Washington State Patrol reports that a 2003 Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by Roy Eugene Nelson of Port Angeles, made a left turn from Louella Road into the westbound lane of U.S. Highway 101 and collided with a 2005 Dodge Caravan, driven eastbound by Edward S. Blacksmith, of Sequim.

Nelson, Blacksmith and Blacksmith’s passenger, Johanna E. Blacksmith, were reported injured. All three persons involved were wearing seatbelts.

Nelson was charged with failure to yield, according to the state patrol.
