The driver and Sequim Aquatic Recreation Center patrons were unhurt after a facility user inadvertently crashed her Audi wagon into the northeast corner of the Sequim Aquatic Recreation Center on June 19.

Sequim Police officer Kindryn Leiter said the driver was parking the vehicle and thought she had pressed the brake but inadvertently pressed down on the accelerator.

There likely will be no charges in the incident, Leiter said. Leslee Francis, special assistant and KidZone supervisor at SARC, said the matter of damage costs will be handled through insurance companies.
