Going gaga at Girl Scout camp

Sequim Girl Scouts finished their annual day camp with Olympic-sized events on July 30.
Each girl made an animal coordinating with their group — fish, flamingo, parrot and zebra — and rode them on a steeple chase in Pioneer Memorial Park.

Girls competed in clothing and water relays and a tent-up to see who could put up a tent the fastest.

The camp hosted 62 girls, nine program aids and 23 adults who participated in crafts, games and songs the week of July 26-30.
