The local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity has selected Liz Heath as its new interim executive director.
“Liz Heath has been active in all aspects of the nonprofit sector for more than 30 years,” said Dick Chambers, Habitat’s board president. “She brings a wealth of experience to our affiliate.”
Heath will begin her duties immediately.
“This is an outstanding group of volunteers helping families currently living in substandard housing to achieve home ownership,” she said. “I look forward to working with the board, the staff and the community to make this dream possible for more people.”
Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing in Clallam County, to ensure that all of the county’s citizens have a decent place to live and raise their children, and to make affordable housing a matter of conscience for everyone in the area.
