Hacky-sack star visits library Wednesday

Alex Zerbe’s high-energy comedy extravaganza comes to Sequim, July 13.

Performances will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., or in case of rain, at the Sequim Middle School cafeteria at 301 W. Hendrickson Road.

He also will be at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Zerbe harpoons vegetables launched from a giant slingshot, performs music looping and demonstrates games from the “other side” of the planet.

He also will teach a class for teens (grades 7-12) on how to hacky-sack at 4 p.m. today.  Zerbe started hacky-sacking as a teenager and went on to become a Guinness World Record holder.  No preregistration required. For more information, call 683-1162.
