Hall then served four years in the U.S. Air Force — in the Air Defense Command — during the Korean War.

After discharge from the Air Force, he went to work for various businesses and developed a career as a quality assurance manager. He married June Johnson, his childhood sweetheart in 1956, and the couple raised two sons.

Hall retired in January 1995, and he and June moved to Sequim. Hall spent the next 12 years working for the City of Sequim in various volunteer positions, including the city’s the Planning Commission and the Parks Board.

Hall also served on the city council for 10 years.

He was an advocate for refurbishing Fir Street by Sequim schools.

Hall was a member of Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church. He assisted in the building the church on North Sequim Avenue.

He was a lifelong woodcarver, and many of his carvings sold in Sequim and Port Angeles stores.

Hall is survived by sons: Kris Hall of West Virginia, and Kyle Hall of Sequim.
