Sherry Lacey, left, and Captain Crystal Stout pick decorations for a 30-foot tree from the basket of a lift donated by Home Depot on Nov. 8. Stout said the tree arrived early at the corner of Sequim Avenue and West Washington Street this year because she and other volunteers who have decorated the trees in the past will be leaving town early this year. The tree was donated by Mike and Susan Zuspan from Bell Hill, the City of Sequim and Accurate Angle Crane donated equipment, and it was placed and decorated by Emily Westcott and volunteers from the Dream Catcher Balloon program. There will be a tree lighting ceremony at 4:30 p.m on Saturday, Nov. 24, at the corner of Sequim Avenue and West Washington Street during Hometown Holidays. Sequim Gazette photo by Erin Hawkins
