Hospital hires new navigator

Malia Delohery-Dart has joined Olympic Medical Cancer Center as the new patient navigator.

Malia Delohery-Dart has joined Olympic Medical Cancer Center as the new patient navigator. She will serve as an advocate for cancer patients throughout their medical treatment.

"I am very excited for Malia to join our staff at the cancer center," said Tara Lock, director of the cancer center.

"Her extensive back-ground of working with people in crisis will be a strong contribution to our already outstanding family of employees who provide exceptional care for our patients."

Delohery-Dart has spent the past 15 years working in the field of mental health. She comes from rural

Oregon, where she worked for 10 years.

She said she looks forward to working with the team at Sequim’s Thomas Family Cancer Center.

"I have been impressed by the degree of caring professionalism I have observed in my fellow employees here," she said.

"They go above and beyond for every patient, every day. I intend to offer the same level of service."
