Expect lights in the sky over Sequim this coming weekend.

Seattle disc jockeys Von Dewey and Ben Shelton will play electronic dance music with laser lights accompaniment at the Oasis Sports Bar & Grill.

"I don’t think Sequim has ever seen anything like this," said Ken Cram, operations manager at the Oasis.

The two-night event takes place 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Jan 23-24.

Von Dewey describes his music as ranging from "down-tempo groovy sounds to pick-you-up dance rhythms." There will be five hours of music each night. Spotlights will be outside to welcome participants.

"We are going to save you a trip to Seattle," Von Dewey said.

"I can’t believe all the equipment they’ve got," Cram said.
