The Sequim Lavender Festival is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations for Fun on the Field, a way for local nonprofit organizations to raise funds and awareness about their programs and services.
Fun on the Field takes place on the athletic field at the Lavender Festival Street Fair, July 16-18, and draws visitors to enjoy children’s and family activities, a stage, family friendly food, seating and crafts booths.
Activities for the young may range from a bean bag toss and trivia to candle-making, classic auto shows and horse rides.
This space gives everyone a chance to spread out and enjoy summer at the Lavender Festival with the entire family.
The festival provides free booth space to nonprofit organizations. All participants are listed and linked on the festival Web site and listed in the 30,000 festival programs distributed before and during the festival.
Organizations interested in more information about participating in the Fun on the Field program should contact Kelly Jo Hill, administrative director, at 681-3035 or e-mail info@lavender
