Sequim resident Virginia Stephenson-Toguchi recently has created a new piece of lyrics and music for the Sequim Lavender Festival. She will perform “Lavender Days” (“La Musique de la Lavende les Jours”) at the opening ceremonies of the festival adjacent to the street fair at 11 a.m. Friday, July 17. Stephenson-Toguchi is a retired music educator, composer and musical arranger and presently a member of Sweet Adelines International.
