Library to host interactive workshop

The Sequim Library will host an interactive workshop exploring some of the innovative designs and creative services in new libraries around the country and around the world from 3-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2. The workshop will be led by Kevin Kane of SHKS Architects, the firm that is helping the North Olympic Library System conduct a needs assessment and feasibility study for the Sequim Library.

The library board has commissioned this study to assist in their decision-making about whether or not to build a larger library for the Sequim-Dungeness Valley area. The purpose of this “Think outside the box” workshop is to expand participants’ horizons with images and information about new and exciting library spaces and features.

This workshop is intended for all ages. Families, teens and children are especially encouraged to attend.
