Local anglers to talk state policing challenges

The Puget Sound Anglers-North Olympic Peninsula Chapter meets at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 19, with guests from the state Department of Fish and Wildlife, which will provide an overview of natural resource law enforcement capabilities and challenges. They also will highlight trends such as illicit shellfish trade. Staff will be prepared to answer questions related to fishing regulations and tolerances. Speaker Sgt. Kit Rosenberger worked the past eight years patrolling North Puget Sound marine waters and was promoted this year to supervise fish and wildlife police officers in Clallam and Jefferson counties.
