Clallam County Noxious Weed Control coordinator Cathy Lucero will discuss weed management in home gardens at noon Thursday, April 24, in the county commissioners meeting room of the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

Lucero will explain why weeds are successful and how weed plant life-cycles influence which control methods to use and how to decide when to use them.  She will discuss prevention and early intervention management strategies.

This presentation is part of the Green Thumbs Garden Tips brown bag series sponsored by the WSU Clallam County Master Gardeners on the second and fourth Thursday of every month in Port Angeles.
