Jaye Moore from the Northwest Raptor and Wildlife Center received a call on April 28 about an injured bald eagle in the Happy Valley area.

The male bird was trapped and couldn’t get out of some brush. After a long walk and wading through a ditch Moore was able to capture it pretty quickly, says photographer Joan Hermanson.

Moore returned to center with the eagle. After examining it, Moore could find no major injury and that it will be healthy after some rest and relaxation.
