Milestone: Beta Nu Gives $7,980 in grants to local educators

This spring, Beta Nu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International awarded a total of $7,980 in grants to 16 educators in Clallam County.

This spring, Beta Nu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International awarded a total of $7,980 in grants to 16 educators in Clallam County.

Awards for professional development are offered to educators working in Clallam County schools, including classroom teachers, school nurses, librarians, counselors and para-professionals.

Some areas of work include national boards, master’s degrees, “Pro Teach” certification and professional workshops.

Professional educator grants are awarded in the fall and again in the spring. Grants to future educators are awarded each summer.
