Sequim Boys & Girls Club’s Teen Room coordinator Luke Kisena was presented April 21 with a national Maytag Dependable Leader Award reflecting his dedication to local teens.

Accompanying the award is a $20,000 grant to provide educational scholarships for members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula.

“This club provides the tools and skills to create your own success story and I am so glad to be a part of it,” Kisena told the clubs’ members gathered for the award ceremony
