Milestone: City employee earns new certifications

City of Sequim Public Works employee Jacob McBride has received the Water Distribution Manger I Certification from the Washington State Department of Health.

City of Sequim Public Works employee Jacob McBride has received the Water Distribution Manger I Certification from the Washington State Department of Health.

There are four levels of the Water Distribution Manger certification in Washington. Achieving the certification requires one year of municipal water distribution operations experience.

McBride also has received Cross-Connection Control Specialist certification from the Washington State Department of Health. The certification is part of the Waterworks Operator Certification Rule.
