Milestone: City honors McCulloch for Eagle Scout project

Eagle-Scout-to-be Thomas McCulloch was honored on June 13 by the City of Sequim for his effort to plan and construct two community organization signs at Sequim’s entrances.

Eagle-Scout-to-be Thomas McCulloch was honored on June 13 by the City of Sequim for his effort to plan and construct two community organization signs at Sequim’s entrances.

Sequim Mayor Dennis Smith thanked McCulloch for contributing 20 hours to complete the project as part of his Eagle Scout community service project that displays 18 community service organizations’ logos.

McCulloch was honored along with fellow Scouts from Troop 90 Silas Baird, Beau Halverson, John Hendrickson, Grant Pierson, Joe Pinell, Ryan Schmitt and Sean Weber.

McCulloch received his Eagle Scout rank on June 25. His displays are of the southeastern sidewalk on West Washington Street by the roundabout and on Simdars Road as vehicles come off of U.S. Highway 101.
