Abby Norman, a 3.85 grade-point average Sequim High School sophomore, recently was named Student of the Month by Sequim Elks Lodge No. 2642 at its January Social night dinner.

Norman was selected for her high academic achievements and student involvement at Sequim High. Her hobbies include dance, theater and singing.

Her present courses are Honors Chemistry, Honors Literature, Select Choir, Honors Algebra II, Honors Western Civilization and Photography I. She also is choreographer of Sequim High School’s Operetta “Cinderella” and involved with National Honor Society.

Her future plans are to attend a four-year college or university in Washington or Oregon.

She is the daughter of Brad and Trayce Norman of Sequim.
