The Sequim Food Bank recently was awarded a $1,000 in-kind donation of supplies and materials from Sequim’s Home Depot store.

The support allowed food bank volunteers to make improvements and upgrades to its primary food storage building. The space can now be used to house the upcoming Family Holiday Meal Program and provide volunteers and visitors with a protected and well-lit space.

The Sequim Food Bank provides a traditional holiday meal including a turkey, stuffing, fresh fruit and vegetables, milk, bread, eggs and a pumpkin pie to families in need.
