Randy Hill, principal of Olympic Peninsula Academy and Sequim Options School, and an assistant principal at Sequim High School, received a Leadership Award from the Washington Association for Learning Alternatives for his outstanding contributions to Alternative Learning Experiences in Washington at the WALA Spring Conference held in Grand Mound in early March.
“They spoke a great deal at the ceremony about the involvement of the entire family. The award truly should have gone to all of us,” said Randy Hill.
Association Steve Davidson nominated Hill, who has been with Sequim School District since the 2002-2003 school year.
Sequim Options School, formerly known as the Sequim Alternative High School, is a program that helps students who have fallen behind in credits, those who want to graduate early or someone who is looking for different academic opportunities.
