King, Morris get Soroptimist honors

Soroptimist International of Sequim celebrated their Girls of the Month for March and April by honoring Morgan King, left, and Madison Morris.

King will graduate from Sequim High School with Associate of Arts degree from Peninsula College. She has participated in leadership classes, cheerleading and track, and in her junior year served as one of the Irrigation princesses.

In the fall, King will attend Seattle Pacific University.

Morris has been actively involved in sports during her high school career at Sequim High School. Morris is an avid volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and the Boys & Girls Club.

In the fall, Morris will attend Oregon State University to study sports marketing with the school with plans to become a sports agent.
