Milestone: Rotary District Governor visit kicks off club’s 87th Year

Sequim Noon Rotary President Ed Ebling welcomes District Governor Joanne Croghan to the club’s first meeting of its 87th year of service.

Croghan is a member of the Bainbridge Island Rotary Club and newly elected governor of Rotary District 5020 which encompasses Vancouver Island, British Columbia and northwestern Washington south to Pierce County and Woodland, and the Olympic Peninsula.

The Rotary Club of Sequim (aka Sequim Noon Rotary) was chartered in June 1930 and has played and active role in the history of the Sequim-Dungeness community. Newly elected president Ed Ebling announced plans for 2016-2017 which includes a membership drive and trying new lunchtime meeting venues as well as a monthly dinner meeting. Past President Joe Irvin will head up the club’s Membership Committee for the new year.
