Boy Scout Sean Weber recently received a $1,000 McCall Trust Award from the Rotary Club of Sequim president Christine Paulsen.
Weber is the son of Drs. Carl and Asma Weber, president of his eighth-grade class at Sequim Middle School and a member of Boy Scout Troop 90.
Weber built a three-tier water feature at the Dungeness River Audubon Center as his Eagle Scout qualifying project. He collected more than $3,000 in donations to fund the project. He premiered the project at the Dungeness River Festival, held Sept. 27-28.
The Rotary Club of Sequim has been serving the Sequim-Dungeness Community since 1930.
