At its March 3 meeting, the Strait Stamp Society presents James Kloetzel speaking on how the Scott editors value and edit the catalogue each year.

The Scott Stamp Catalogue is the most widely referenced catalogue in North America. Kloetzel was the editor of the Scott catalogs from 1994-2011 and now is a consultant handling all valuing and editing of the United States and Canada portions of the catalogs from 2011 to the present.

This talk represents a portion of presentations made to the Collectors Club, New York City in 2002 and at the American Philatelic Society Summer Seminar welcome dinner in Bellefonte, Pa., in 2004.

He recently has moved to the Pacific Northwest and is a new member of the Strait Stamp Society.
