The City of Sequim and the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce Announce New “Sequim Out of Doors” Event

The City of Sequim and the Tourism Committee of the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce are partnering together to produce a new tourist event “Sequim Out of Doors,” scheduled to take place on April 12 & 13, 2014. The event will highlight all of the local outdoor attractions and activities for the adventure oriented tourist, and will combine displays, demonstrations, and workshops with opportunities to experience the actual activity.

“Sequim has so much to offer for the outdoor enthusiast. We think this type of event will be a perfect draw to bring people to the area to learn about all of those opportunities,” said Shelli Robb-Kahler, Executive Director of the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce.

“We’ve been talking to business people in the community about the idea, and there seems to be a lot of enthusiasm about the event. We’re excited to give visitors one more reason to visit Sequim and experience all that the area has to offer,” said Barbara Hanna, Communications and Marketing Director for the City of Sequim.
