Davis sentenced in methamphetamine case

John Dale Davis, 51, of Sequim, was sentenced to serve 24 months probation plus three to six months of intensive inpatient treatment on Aug. 21.

Davis pled guilty to two counts of delivery of methamphetamine in exchange for two additional counts being dismissed.

Davis’ prior criminal history includes possession of a controlled substance in 2011.

Davis was arrested at his home in the 300 block of River Road near Sequim on the morning of Jan. 24. During an investigation, OPNET developed probable cause to believe that Davis sold methamphetamine to OPNET on four separate occasions during October 2012.

Kardonsky sentenced in oxycodone case

Christopher G. Kardonsky, 22, of Sequim, was sentenced on Aug. 22, to serve 12 months probation after pleading guilty to delivery of oxycodone.

The sentencing follows Kardonsky’s plea to unlawfully delivering oxycodone to OPNET on Jan. 20, 2011.

Malcom arrested for warrant in drug cases

Matthew M. Malcom, 23, of Port Angeles, was arrested by the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, for a $5,000 felony warrant, and booked into the Clallam County jail on Aug. 19. The warrant was issued in May after Malcom allegedly failed to obey an order of the court in connection with his pending drug charges.

During two separate investigations OPNET developed probable cause to believe that Malcom delivered heroin to OPNET in Port Angeles and also that Malcom delivered methamphetamine to OPNET in Sequim.

Purkey arrested for warrant in oxycodone case

William Jackson Purkey, age 29, of Port Angeles, was arrested by the Port Angeles Police Department for a $5,000 felony warrant and booked into the Clallam County jail on Aug. 19.

The warrant was issued in January after Purkey failed to obey an order of the court in connection with Purkey’s pending drug charges.

Purkey was one of seven suspects arrested on June 8, 2012, during an OPNET prescription medication case.

During the case, OPNET developed probable cause to believe that Purkey unlawfully delivered oxycodone to OPNET on April 25, 2012, within 1,000 feet of a school bus stop and also that Purkey possessed oxycodone with intent to deliver on June 8, 2012.

Kenney sentenced to 40 months

Robert Lee Kenney, 45, of Forks, was sentenced to serve 40 months in state prison on Sept. 3. Kenney agreed to plead guilty to possession with intent to manufacture or deliver methamphetamine in exchange for the dismissal of other charges against him.

The other charges included delivery of methamphetamine and possession of heroin.

The delivery charge was the result of an OPNET investigation during which OPNET developed probable cause to believe that Kenney delivered methamphetamine to OPNET in Forks in January 2013.

The additional charges filed against Kenney are the result of a Forks Police Department investigation.

Kenney’s criminal history includes driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, three felony violations of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act, two explosives convictions and felony harassment.
