OTA seeks youths with talent

Olympic Theatre Arts has announced auditions for its first “Kids Got Talent” Show as an offering for the Sequim First Friday Art Walk on Aug. 7.

Olympic Theatre Arts has announced auditions for its first “Kids Got Talent” Show as an offering for the Sequim First Friday Art Walk on Aug. 7.

OTA is looking for young people to fill 10 to 12 slots of 3–5 minutes each, for a one-hour show preceding the opening night of “Alice in Zombieland,” which runs Aug. 7-9 at the theater.

According to OTA office manager, Carol Willis, the theater company is looking for a variety of talented youngsters, including singers, dancers, musicians, actors and poets, each one to present a brief sketch.

 

Auditions will be held at OTA, 414 N. Sequim Ave. from 1-3 p.m. Monday,

Aug. 3. No additional rehearsals will be required for those selected to appear in the show at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 7.
