After three nights of competition, Rachel Hughes, 15, of Sequim, won the Pass the Mic competition at King’s Way Foursquare Church.
Judges selected her operatic performance of the “Flower Duet†as the top performance at the finals on March 26.
Hughes last competed two years ago and said she did it this year for the performing experience.
She won $500 for first prize.
Patrick Townsend of Sequim won the $250 second prize and Jessie Davis of Port Angeles won $125 for third.
Auctions and dinner tickets running in conjunction with the three-night event benefited construction of Camp King’s Way.
