If you have been thinking about entering the health care field as a nurse, you can learn more about the profession at Peninsula College’s Nursing Orientation Seminar on Jan. 12.

The seminar will be held from 2-6 p.m. on the Port Angeles campus in the Pirate Union Building Conference Room, J47, at 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd. No RSVP is required, just come and join in the informative program.

The presentation covers general information about the profession of nursing, pre-requisites required for admission, the application process and life as a nursing student. A panel of current and former nursing students will be present to help answer questions.

Recorded attendance will add 10 points to an individual’s nursing application.

Individuals who attended the first seminar in November 2014 may also attend this one but additional points will not be awarded to their application.
