PHOTO: ‘Super’ sight over Sequim

Bob Lampert of Sequim spots the April 7 “pink moon” from Bell Hill. The recent “pink moon,” classified as a supermoon, was the closest, biggest and brightest full moon of the year, according to The Weather Network’s Scott Sutherland. A supermoon defined as a full moon or new moon that is near or at its closest distance to Earth in its orbit.
