On Thursday, July 16, children are invited to see Valentine’s performing pigs as part of the North Olympic Library System’s Summer Reading Program.
The program starts at 10:30 a.m. Parents should note that this is a shift from the usual Wednesday schedule.
Real, live mini pigs will play golf and soccer, skateboard and more. After the show, children can pet the pigs.
The library’s annual Summer Reading Program will continue through Friday, Aug. 21, at all four North Olympic Library System locations: Port Angeles, Clallam Bay, Forks and Sequim.
Children who participate will build their reading skills throughout the summer by enjoying recreational reading, earning prizes and attending a variety of free special events. Children may sign up at their library any time during the summer.
