Superior Court
Bryan K. Barker – Barker, 29, Bremerton, was charged Jan. 4 with one count of second-degree assault, strangulation/domestic violence. According to court records, Barker allegedly assaulted his girlfriend Jan. 3 in a Sequim motel room. Arraignment was set for Jan. 15.
Cory A. Furford – Furford, 20, Port Angeles, was charged Jan. 4 with one count each of possession of a controlled substance other than marijuana and possession of less than 40 grams of marijuana. According to court records, Furford allegedly was found in possession of marijuana and heroin Jan. 2 during a search following his arrest on an outstanding warrant. Trial was set for Feb. 17 with his next court date set for Jan. 29.
Justin T. Cox – Cox, 21, transient, was charged Jan. 4 with one count each of first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm and second-degree trafficking in stolen property. According to court records, Cox allegedly sold a stolen firearm in November 2008. Arraignment was set for Jan. 15.
Joshua Michael Wilson – Wilson, 26, Sequim, had charges against him dismissed Jan. 6 with prejudice, meaning they can’t be refiled. He had faced one count each of intimidating a witness or former witness, fourth-degree assault and first-degree criminal trespass but the victim could not be located. His next court appearance on a bail jumping charge was set for Jan. 13.
