Police looking for burglary suspect

Clallam county police are searching for a white adult male suspected of burglarizing a home on Lakeview Drive in Sequim on Wednesday, January 16, while the homeowner was next door.

 

According to a release from the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect rode into the premises on a bike and checked doors to see if anyone was home, then circled the residence and entered through a bathroom window at 11:45 a.m. He was in the house for roughly five minutes according to information from Detective John Keegan.

 

On site video surveillance cameras stored images of the man, who wore a brown baseball cap, jeans, purple windbreaker and black backpack. The bicycle was a black, a medium framed mountain bike with front fork suspension.

 

Deputies and detectives are following up on leads, although no suspects have been confirmed.
