Clallam County Fire District 3 reports from March 8-15, firefighters and emergency service personnel responded to 214 calls for service, including two calls for residential structure fires, one off Gasman Road and the other Still Road.

Staff encourage residents to inspect, test, and add fresh batteries to smoke detectors every daylight saving time. New detectors should be installed every 10 years, and residents can buy detectors with built-in 10-year batteries, they said.
