Sequim Noon Rotary’s classic fish feed wowed them again.

The civic club’s 47th annual Salmon Bake & BBQ on Aug. 9 at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club saw more than 700 meals and helped the club meet its fundraising goal, event chair Vicky Blakesley said.

“This is our biggest fundraiser for this year and (helps us be) able to continue to sponsor all the local programs that we do,” she said.

Blakesley had high praise for all the event helpers and sponsors, particularly for the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, for the wine and beer garden (new to the event this year) and providing outdoor tents for shade, and for QFC allowing event organizers set up a ticket pre-sale desk for an entire week prior to the Aug. 9 bake.
