The SEF Science Café will begin meeting at the Paradise Restaurant, 703 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim, at 6:30 p.m. March 12. Its informal café format will include a 30-minute presentation and a 60-minute period for questions and answers.
The meeting will feature Olympic National Park scientist Bill Baccus, who will discuss the “Response of Olympic Mountain Glaciers to Recent Climate Change.”
There is no charge for admission. Café meetings are open to adults and young adults interested in deepening their understanding of science and technology.
The SEF Science Café began in January as an outreach for Sequim Education Foundation to promote community interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
