Seismic network reports 3.5 earthquake south of Sequim on Sunday

The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network reports a 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck around 7:25 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14.

The agency reports the quake south of Lost Mountain Road and east of Slab Camp Road was about 45.3 kilometers deep.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 4.0 earthquake struck about 6 kilometers west of the Quilcene area at 7:14 a.m. on Christmas Eve, Sunday, Dec. 24. The depth of the earthquake was about 52.4 kilometers, the survey reports.
