The Sequim Bay Yacht Club is hosting an open house for members and the public from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at John Wayne Marina.

A few cruising boats will be available to walk through, as well as sailboat rides. Local vendor GoExpedition will be renting kayaks and paddle boards.

Also, the yacht club has several quad rowing boats that will be available for use. A marina meeting room will be open for members and visitors, with snacks provided.

The Opening Day flag ceremony and annual boat parade on Sequim Bay are set for 1 p.m. A potluck dinner ($15 per person) is set for 5 p.m.
