Sequim events on July 4

• Join KSQM’s 5th Annual Independence Day BBQ from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at 577 W. Washington St. in Serenity Square. Booths, activities and live music to benefit Sequim Community Radio, KSQM.

• Sequim City Band’s 23rd Annual 4th of July Concert. Patriotic music beginning at 2:45 p.m. at the James Center for the Performing Arts, 563 N. Rhodefer Road.

• First Friday Art Walk in downtown Sequim 5-8 p.m.

• Blue Holiday Band, Port Townsend funk, blues, 7-10 p.m., Wind Rose Cellars, 143 W. Washington St.

Closures: Banks, post office, city and county offices, libraries. For outlying Clallam County, fireworks only are allowed July 2-3 from 9 a.m.-11 p.m.; July 4 from 9 am.-midnight; and July 5 from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
